I DECIDED TO MAKE THE DOOR HANDLES GO AWAY TOO
NEW METAL
PASS. LOWER DOOR AND 1/4
REBUILT LOWER REAR CORNER OF THE PASS. DOOR
I CHOPPED UP AN OLD A/C BOX TO COVER THE HOLES IN THE FIREWALL . I TRIED TO MAKE ONE OUTTA METAL , BUT IT WUZ JUST TOO UGLY LOOKIN !
IT TURNED OUT THAT THE ORIGINAL MOTOR HAD A BENT CONNECTING ROD , AND IT WUZ ALREADY .040 OVER , SO I HAD TO BUILD UP A FRESH BULLET FOR IT .

11.7 :1 COMPRESSION , CLOSED CHAMBER IRON HEADS , AND A BIG CAM --- SONDED LIKE A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME . IT TURNED OUT TO BE A VERY EXPENSIVE LESSON IN " WHAT NOT TO DO " , IF YOU WANT IT TO RUN ON PUMP GAS AND BE STREETABLE !

GREY ZOLATONE .
ENGINE COMPARTMENT --- CLEANED AND PAINTED .
